Travis Kelce has been spotted out and about with Taylor Swift at New York City restaurants like Nobu 57 and Catch whenever he’s in town. Now, the 34-year-old tight end is opening up a spot of his own to wine and dine the pop icon on her trips to Kansas City.
That’s right, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend is partnering with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback (and his real-life bestie) Patrick Mahomes to open his own steakhouse to entertain the star and her squad. (Imagine walking into the restaurant and seeing Taylor Swift and crew—which could include Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, or Brittany Mahomes on any given day—at a booth with Kelce and Mahomes? We’d give anything to have a seat in that dining room.)
The Super Bowl champs are being backed by Noble 33, the hospitality group behind New York City’s newest hotspot Meduza Mediterrania and Las Vegas’s Toca Madera, which could explain why Kelce has been seen so frequently at each of late. (He’s been to the Vegas outpost of Toca Madera at least three times this year, as far as we know.)
“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” explained Mahomes in a release. The new eatery will be called 1587 Prime, named after a combination of both players’ jersey numbers, and is slated to be an “immersive and upscale dining experience” according to the release.
“We are honored to collaborate with two icons of the game to create an unforgettable dining experience for Kansas City and beyond,” Tosh Berman, a co-founder of Noble 33 along with Mikey Tanha, tells AD.
