Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan has bought two offices spread over nearly 4,200 sq ft in a commercial project in Oshiwara locality of Mumbai’s western suburb Andheri for over Rs 22.26 crores.
She has acquired these properties on the 9th floor of the commercial along with her mother Amrita Singh. They have purchased these offices, each spread over 2,099 sq ft built-up area, from the developer Veer Savarkar Projects directly.
The buyers have paid a total stamp duty of over Rs 1.33 crore for registration of the deals that took place on October 10, showed the documents accessed through FloorTap.com.
The agreement value for both the apartments is Rs 11.13 crore each and will provide the buyers exclusive access to 3 car parking slots each.
Last year too, the actor had purchased an office spread over similar size on the fourth floor of the same tower for Rs 9 crore.
Interestingly, several Bollywood personalities including Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Kajol, and Kartik Aryan have also bought office properties in this same tower.
Sara Ali Khan could not be reached for a comment.
Real estate has remained one of the most preferred investments for high networth individuals. Bollywood personalities have also been picking up properties not only for self-use but also as an investment.
Several Bollywood actors, producers and directors including Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai have invested in properties.
Many deals of high-end luxury properties acquired by Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukherjee, Alia Bhat, Disha Patani, and Janhvi Kapoor have also been reported in the last few years.
