Bwssb To Take Over Borewells From Builders, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate

BENGALURU: To tackle water shortage in the city, the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has decided to take over borewells from the builders and issued an order on Thursday in this regard.

The builders have been asked to hand over the borewells to the board till the end of summer or further orders.

BWSSB chairman Ram Prasath Manohar had recently issued an order asking property owners who have taken up construction on properties measuring over 20,000sqft to hand over their borewells to BWSSB to tackle the water crisis in the city.
