JAIPUR: Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) introduced an online auto-calculation facility to enable residents to determine lease deed fees and associated charges. This new service eliminates the need for plot owners to visit the JDA premises physically, as they can now access the required information through the JDA website from their homes. The service is presently operational only for Prithviraj Nagar (PRN) region.
However, the authority will extend this facility across all zones once the data for other authorised colonies is incorporated into the system.
“JDA integrated a dedicated link on its website that enables plot owners to compute various charges, including lease deed fees, name transfer costs, subdivision charges, and plot reorganisation expenses.
Now plot owners can calculate these charges on the website only,” said a JDA official.
According to the system, plot owners need to access the JDA website and select ‘Calculator for Lease Deed / Patta – Prithviraj Nagar Only’. Subsequently, they must input details about their property area and the date of the colony’s first camp.
Upon clicking ‘Calculation’, they receive comprehensive information about various charges, including allotment fees, urban Jamabandi, administrative costs, BSUP shelter fund, development charges, building construction approval, rainwater conservation security, and other associated fees.
“The service accommodates both residential and commercial properties. This digital initiative by JDA aims to streamline the process, saving valuable time and effort for property owners by providing essential information online. The auto-calculation service marks a significant advancement in JDA’s digital transformation efforts, improving accessibility and convenience for residents,” a senior official added.
