PANAJI: Pernem police booked five individuals for forging a board resolution of a company and presenting it at the sub-registrar office in Pernem to execute a sale deed of seven flats at Agarwada-Chopdem.

Pernem PI Sachin Lokre said that the accused hatched a conspiracy and, with common intent, prepared forged board resolutions of the complainant’s company, Eco Promoters Pvt Ltd.

Lokre said that the persons are identified as Rahul Sharma, Samrity Sharma and Jitendra Kumar, all residents of Delhi and Vishal Garg, a resident of Ghaziabad and Atul Singh Tewatia, a resident of Faridabad.

“They forged the signatures of the directors of the complainant company and presented them as genuine before the sub-registrar in Pernem for executing seven sale deeds,” the FIR stated.
