Hyd firm alleges misuse of its name in ₹3k crore Mumbai realty projects, ET RealEstate

HYDERABAD: A major real estate firm from Hyderabad has found itself in the middle of a roughly Rs 3,000 crore property scam after its name was allegedly misused in two upscale residential pockets of MumbaiKhar West and Prabhadevi.

On Friday, Vamsiram Builders lodged a complaint with the registrar of companies (ROC) and the ministry of corporate affairs alleging that its name, logo, project details, address and even clientele have been impersonated by a Mumbai-based group to execute two big-ticket redevelopment projects.

“It has come to our notice that a company by name Vamsiram Realty Pvt Ltd represented by its directors, Srishitha Kattam Reddy and Pattabhiram Reddi Kattamreddi, registered under ROC, Mumbai vide CIN: U51909MH2023PTC397289 on January 10, 2023 has floated similar business cloning our mnemonic, website, colour codes and styling of our business,” stated the complaint by the Vamsiram Builders.
