JAIPUR: Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) and JMC Greater on Thursday jointly removed 150 temporary encroachments between Shyam Nagar and Ajmer Road, Mansarovar and Gopalpura bypass, and the Riddhi Siddhi and Triveni intersections. JDA also demolished five illegal colonies on 12 bighas of agricultural land.
Officials said around 150 places on both sides of the footpath and road were illegally occupied by squatters who put up carts, tarpaulins, hoardings, signboards, iron angles, platforms, tin shaded tables and chairs among others.
