VADODARA: Portions of a posh bungalow in the Tandalja area were razed by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) after it came to light that these were unauthorized and constructed beyond the permission given by the civic body.
Sources said that the bungalow was issued notices in the past too regarding the illegal construction.
However, the construction was completed and stood as it was on the ground. VMC officials also received complaints regarding the bungalow in the past.
The residents of the bungalow requested the officials to stop the drive.
The unauthorized parts of the bungalow, which included some extensions and a washroom, were razed.
